Who we are?
We are a team specializing in the development of systems that transcend the limitations of conventional engineering, integrating knowledge from basic sciences such as physics and mathematics, as well as engineering disciplines such as mechatronics, telematics, robotics, computer systems, communications, electronics, and mechanics, among others. Our primary focus is on the research, design, and implementation of innovative solutions for the development of space systems, contributing to technological advancement and the training of highly skilled human capital in the aerospace field.
Aware of the potential of science and engineering to transform the future, our mission and vision set the course that guides each of our projects towards exploration and progress.
Vission
"To be the pioneering benchmark at the IPN, in Mexico, and in Latin America for transdisciplinary research and development of space systems, positioning UPIITA and the IPN as internationally leading institutions in this field. We aspire to consolidate an innovation ecosystem that drives the generation of certified technology, strengthens the country's space sovereignty, and decisively contributes to the comprehensive training of highly specialized talent. This will be achieved through the integration of disruptive trends such as artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things (IoT), and advanced mechatronics and telematics, with an educational and scientific approach that prepares new generations to face the challenges of the global space industry, while simultaneously enabling national technological sovereignty in this area and solving national problems."

To this end, it specializes in the development and training of highly specialized human capital, promoting collaborative learning environments and practical experiences alongside robust theoretical training, which strengthen scientific and technological competencies. Through the active participation of students in applied projects, the generation of robust solutions for the space environment, and the continuous updating of curricula, national innovation is promoted, responding effectively to both national problems and the challenges of the global space industry."
